Wendy Kromer ~ On January 25th, Ellen attended an exclusive workshop with internationally reknowned cake designer, Wendy Kromer, of "Martha Stewart's Weddings Magazine". Ms. Kromer's work has been featured in nearly every issue of "Martha Stewart's Weddings Magazine", and has been emulated by cake designers far and wide. She happens to live in Ohio, and offers cake design classes at the Western Reserve School of Cooking. Her course was very informative, and she is genuinely a down-to-earth person and a great teacher. We learned the secrets of a great Swiss meringue buttercream and Ms. Kromer taught us all of her great secrets to a beautiful fondant cake.

On the 'Big Screen' ~ On Friday, February 3rd, Ellen and Devin's cakes were highlighted on the Channel 27 (WKBN) Morning News program. We were able to showcase some of our best work, including the tree stump cake, the heart-shaped box of chocolates cake, the beach cake, and a Tiffany's Box cake.
